Creation Care

Posted by John Hollender

Since 2005 thr NDPC garden has produced over 200# of fresh produce per year. Sunday we had our first havest this year, over 3 # of mostly green beans and Irish potatoes. That went to DEAM on Monday.

Over the summer the produce wil be apportioned 3 ways. DEAM[Decatur Emergency Assistance Ministry], the tenants of our 2 houses on Blackmon Dr., and you, the congregation. Look for veggies at the after church reception on Sundays. And please help yourself to the basil and rosemary at anytime.

Finally, remember to buy locally grown produce for flavor, health, and to preserve our environment.
