Volunteer with Decatur’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Service Project. You will assist long-time Decatur senior homeowners by providing house maintenance and repairs. These repairs allow residents to remain in their homes–and remain as valued neighbors and members of our community.
NDPC will have our own team this year–you are welcome to include your friends and neighbors. We are looking for both skilled and unskilled volunteers of all ages. If you have some construction experience, please sign up to help! But if you hardly know how to use a hammer, you are needed, too. It’s a great activity for families to do together. Everyone can pitch in.
