North Decatur Presbyterian Church, a growing, progressive, 350+ member church, is looking for a self-motivating Operations Coordinator to support the church’s administrative programs. The position requires the candidate to manage the church office, coordinate property management, and provide financial and human resources support. The candidate should have the following skills:
Proficiency in keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel, GoogleDocs and DropBox;
Ability to process accounts payable, payroll, and 1099s; complete journal entries; and manage monthly and year-end financial reporting and annual audit;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to take initiative within the scope of the position; and
Strong organizational skills.
Procurement and vendor/tenant management experience preferred.
Knowledge of ACS (database) and WordPress is a plus.
Experience working in churches is preferred.
