Grace and Peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are pleased that your journey of faith has led you our congregation. It is our belief and our experience that churches can be places of healing and joyful living. Our members will tell you that they experience a deeper appreciation for the gift of life by participating in this community. Our church helps people make sense of the world and to love more fully. We hope you will find this, too.
People always ask, “what kind of church is NDPC?” Labels stink. But if you want to use them, we are “liberal.” “Progressive.” “Social justice-minded.” “Open.” “Gay-friendly.” But people here also “love Jesus.” “Believe in the Bible.” “Promote personal responsibility.” People at NDPC take their faith seriously, though not always themselves. The best way to find out what kind of church this is is to come and see for yourself.
If you have any questions about NDPC or its ministries after visiting the website, please speak with our pastors or any of our members. We encourage you to participate in one of our Inquirer’s Classes during which you will learn about NDPC and the Presbyterian Church, and have time to reflect on the Christian life and faith, the role of Christ’s church in the world, and your own call by God.
Grace and peace,
David and Beth
