Sunday, May 24: Rob Schoonover preaching: Thursday, May 21st marks an obscure, but important day in the Christian tradition, Ascension Day. We often forget this event in the midst of our busy spring schedules. We don’t hand out Ascension Day cards and we don’t give Ascension Day gifts, yet I think this day bears real importance for our present context. This Sunday we will look at Acts 1:6-14 and discuss the importance and beauty of the ascension.
