Sermon Series: What is Church?
The numbers are lousy. Church membership and attendance are down, across all traditions. Young people aren’t looking to faith communities for nourishment. This is creating a crisis of identity in the American church. Here at NDPC, we face our own decisions: with finite resources, how are we to live our faith? What activities should we prioritize? What should we leave behind? What, in the end, is this church for? Leaning on the wisdom of the PCUSA’s six “Great Ends” of the church, we explore the purpose for Christ’s body in the world.
