1st Time Visitor Information
Welcome to NDPC. We hope that you feel like a beloved child of God from the moment you enter our doors.
GETTING HERE
The church is located at 611 Medlock Road, at the intersection of North Decatur Road, Scott Boulevard, and Medlock Road. We are 2 miles east of Emory University and 3 miles inside I-285 via the Stone Mountain Freeway.
Parking is available in the church lot on Medlock Rd. or on-street parking on Medlock.

The Campus
There are 2 main buildings–a steep A-frame Sanctuary building and the concave-roofed Fellowship & Education building. Entrance to the sanctuary is via the two double doors on Medlock or through the 1st floor Sanctuary building entrance, where an elevator/stairs will take you up to the Sanctuary. The Fellowship Hall and 2nd floor children’s classrooms are accessed through the lobby door of the Fellowship & Education building.
Worship
Worship services at NDPC last about an hour. Dress is informal–come-as-you-are. Feel free to introduce yourself to those around you, but if you’re a major introvert, don’t worry–plenty of us are, too!

Kids & Families
- We are delighted to welcome children and families into our intergenerational faith community. On Sundays, Church School for all ages begins at 9:45AM. Kids ages Pre-K to 5th grade should be brought to the 2nd floor of the Education Building, where volunteers and staff will greet you and show you your child’s classroom. There is a dedicated class for parents and guardians that meets at the same time in the same hallway. Parents pick up their children after Church School finishes at 10:35AM. More Info
- For Middle and High School youth, Church School classes take place in the first floor of the Connector building (that joins the Education and Sanctuary buildings). Enter through the Fellowship Hall lobby. More Info
- Our staffed nursery is open from 8:30 until 12:30 every Sunday for little ones, infants through age 3. The nursery is located on the 2nd floor of the Connector building, in the room nearest the sanctuary.
- Kids are always welcome in worship at NDPC. Some kids sit with their family, others choose to sit together in the front near the baptismal font. At the 11AM service, kids are invited to come forward for a brief Word in Worship. Afterward, children age 4 through 3rd grade leave with our staff and volunteers for a Worship & Wonder experience. Kids can be picked up in the Worship & Wonder room on the 2nd floor of the Education Building at the conclusion of the 11AM service. Kids are welcome at Early Worship; there is no special time for kids during that service, there are kids resources in the lobby where they can grab something to doodle with, play quietly with, or read while they sit with their family in worship.
