We are happy to open our doors to friends in our community, and we are fortunate to have wonderful community friends who use our building on a regular basis. The services these groups offer are open to residents of our neighborhood and the wider community.
Hess Academy is a private school for Pre-K through 8th grade. Children cultivate critical thinking and learning skills as they flourish in an atmosphere of collaboration and discovery.

Alcoholics Anonymous – Journey of Days Group
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

North Decatur Pickin’ Community
This is a monthly gathering of pickers and vocalists interested in playing good old country music. We have enjoyed combinations of a wide variety of instruments over the years, and we help new pickers learn as we go! If we don’t get a quorum, we’ll let you know.
