Christians celebrate the season of Advent which falls between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Advent is considered the beginning of our liturgical year and it culminates with honoring the birth of the Christ child. As the days grow shorter and the nights grow longer, it is a time to listen to our bodies and the natural world and slow down and reflect as we wait for the birth of Christ. It is a time when we begin to listen to our hearts deepest hopes and to practice the sometimes uncomfortable feelings that accompany uncertainty and anticipation.
To add you as you observe Advent, members of NDPC have written reflections for each of the 28 days beginning on November 28, 2021.
