Be The Church

“The church” is not a building–it’s our desire to live as the body of Christ in the world. The church is not a place–we are a people committed to loving God, loving one another, and loving the world that God created. Come and “be the church” with us.

Service Outside the church

Jesus said “the greatest among you is the one who serves.” NDPC has a history of members serving others, both in our own DeKalb County neighborhood and around the world.

Service Within The Church

Being a member of the church is much more than attending worship. Explore how you can use your time, energy, and talent to support the various activities we offer at NDPC.

LEARNING

Adult EDUCATION

NDPC offers opportunities each week for adults to learn theology and spirituality, to reflect on ethical living, and grow in faith.

Youth Programs

Spiritual formation and friendship are essential parts of life for youth in high school and middle school.

Children Programs

Sunday School, music, and fun are offered in-person for all kids from infancy through 5th grade during the academic year (Labor Day - Memorial Day.) Childcare provided year-round for infants through kindergarteners during worship.

COMMUNITY

Men's Group

A monthly gathering of men for friendship and spiritual support. Drop in for conversation, friendship, laughter, and a genuine, caring community.

Women Together

The women of NDPC have been gathering monthly for 30 years for food, friendship, and spiritual support. All women are welcome.

Forming us

A weekly gathering to discuss parenting as a spiritual practice. Honesty is encouraged. Humor is always appreciated.

Caregivers Support

Twice-a-month meeting for caregivers. People from all spiritual backgrounds are welcome.

Senior Adults

"Ageless Grace" is the name for our community of senior adults (60+). People from all spiritual backgrounds are welcome.

Book Group

Meet once a month for conversation about great books we’ve all (mostly) read.

Knit Wits

Knitting, prayer, and conversation every Thursday morning.

New To ndpc

A small group conversation with the pastors for those who want to learn more about joining NDPC.

Makers Meetup

A gathering of sculptors, knitters, woodworkers, painters, and creatives who work on projects individually and collectively and create community around the spiritual act of making.

Alternative Gift Market

Our annual market every December hosts vendors selling fair trade, environmentally-sustainable and reasonably-priced holiday gifts that create positive change for refugees and disenfranchised populations.
