At NDPC, we mark time through the seasons of the liturgical calendar, being shaped by the stories of the birth, life, death, and resurrection stories of our faith. This calendar orients our lives towards the sacred and the mystery that is in our midst. This Sunday we celebrate the Day of Pentecost – that strange day in which we mark the arrival of the Holy Spirit in our world, who interrupts our “business as usual.” It’s a day of fire, speaking in tongues, bright red, and winds of change.
Today’s sermon is by Amanda Osenga.
