Want to connect with other members? We have a tradition of enjoying lemonade outside after worship in the summers. We can’t gather in person yet but we can gather virtually to catch up, break the ice if you are new, and stay cool together through summer fellowship.

Join Jill Jacques as she hosts a virtual “lemonade time” from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. after our Sunday service watch party. Jill will convene us with a warm greeting and ice breaker question. If there are a bunch of us, she’ll even open up Zoom rooms for smaller groups and rotate us around to mingle and make the most of this super fantastic social set-up. Join us for our Lemonade and Zoom hour. Details are in the Communicator and the Sunday morning email.

Rev. Lewicki, preaching. On Sunday, June 7th, we begin a fun summer preaching series: The Best. Story. Ever!  When we are children, we learn about the Bible through its biggest, brightest, most wonderful stories: wild animals, miraculous deeds, and s/heroes of every shape and size. This summer, NDPC is going back to re-visit the Biblical stories that captured our imaginations as children to discover how their meaning deepens as we “grow up” and how they speak into the social crises of this age.

This Sunday, we hear the story of Adam and Eve. Who were our “first parents?” What was life like in the garden of Eden? Why did they eat that fruit? Was Eve framed? What does this story teach us about our strength and frailty in our life with God?
