Advent 2: Let There Be Peace

We light the 2nd Advent candle as we pray for Peace. A younger and older member of the church lead us in the candle lighting liturgy–a “conversation with God” about peace. Rev. Lewicki preaches on the startling word that starts the 40th chapter of Isaiah: “comfort.” Communion is celebrated.
