Making Room for Silence

It’s our annual celebration of All Saints Day, when we call into mind the presence of those dear ones who have crossed over to join the communion of saints. We read the list of names of NDPC members who have died in the past year at the beginning of worship. We also begin a four week series on the remarkable legacy of 20th century American mystic theologian Howard Thurman. This week’s sermon is on the essential quality of silence.
