The Messianic Secret

We hear a story in which Jesus is changed. Or perhaps not so much changed, as we see something in Jesus for the first time that was there all along. It makes one wonder about the changes we see or seek in ourselves – are they really about something new, or do changes reveal something that was within us the whole time?
