We have an amazing opportunity to serve our neighbors next weekend, January 18-20. Please take a moment now and register HERE as a volunteer for the 2025 MLK Service Project. Make sure you sign up as a part of the North Decatur Presbyterian group.
NDPC will be in charge of our “own” house to fix up. We want all hands on deck. You can volunteer on Saturday, Sunday, and/or Monday for a full-day or 1/2 day. We do need handy-people to be team leaders, so if you have skills in home repair, email our team coordinator, James Tomlinson. We also need plenty of “unskilled but cheerful” volunteers all weekend long. Teenagers and kids are expected to volunteer. Basically, there’s something for everyone to do! Invite your friends, bring a whole group.
The houses that we work on are owned by elderly neighbors who don’t have the resources or energy to do their own repairs. Our work will help them stay in their home and stay as our beloved neighbors!
