Join us in worship for Part 1 of a two-part sermon series with Ministry Fellow, Victoria Robinson. This Sunday we will be looking at the story from Luke 7:36-50 of the unnamed woman who anointed Jesus’ feet with oil and her tears. The woman in the story is called a “sinner” and “a woman of the city”, which all label her harmfully based on a reputation. This sermon will focus on how labeling someone does not take away their power or dignity and will give a re-interpretation of this text in a feminist viewpoint.
