Adult Ed: Just Neighbors
How do we love our neighbor when we are separated from our neighbors by visible and invisible walls? In this Lenten class, participants will explore Scripture, our own life stories, and justice issues in DeKalb County today. We will discuss how we become better neighbors in order to create our own “Beloved Community.” Speakers include the Rev. Dr. Bill Brown of Columbia Seminary, Dr. Kyle Lambelet of the Candler School of Theology, Representative Becky Evans, and Rev. Sen. Kim Jackson.
Participants will be drawn from the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross and North Decatur Presbyterian Church. Enrollment is not limited. Because the goal of the class is to develop relationships, we ask that participants attend as many class sessions as you are able.
