NDPC shifts into a summer schedule on Sunday, May 24th. Summer church is meant to be simple, unfussy, and enjoyable for all ages and stages of life.
There is one worship service on Sunday at 10AM. On the first Sunday of June and July, we host the always-popular “Brunch Church” in the Fellowship Hall.
If you are a singer (or a wannabe singer), join our summer pop-up choir. Arrive in the sanctuary at 9AM, rehearse the music, and lead the congregation in song that same day.
There is no Adult Spiritual Formation hour during the summertime—we hope every adult is reading a good book for fun!
Kids also get a summer break from Sunday School, but there is programming for kids during the summer season. For kids ages 0-3, the nursery is open all summer long on Sunday from 9:45 – 11:15AM—drop the young ones off and come to worship in peace. For kids ages 4-8, we offer a fun, child-friendly education program during the 10AM worship hour that includes a short lesson and time on the playground. Kids 9 and older are invited to worship with their families—we have quiet activities they can do in their seats.
Youth group for middle and high school students does not meet on Sunday during the summer, but there will also be pop-up events throughout the summer.
The summer schedule lasts through Sunday, August 2nd. On Sunday, August 9th, we will return to the school year schedule, with worship at 8:45 and 11AM and Spiritual Formation classes for all ages from 9:45 – 10:35AM.
