Worship this Sunday is at 8:45 and  11AM with Church School for All Ages at 9:45AM.

Huu is delighted to be serving the NDPC community leading the music ministry where he oversees the adult choir, handbell choir, and children’s choir.  He began his church music ministry as organist and associate director of music at Kennesaw United Methodist Church, and later served as music director of the Unitarian Universalist Metro Atlanta North Congregation and later, Unity North Atlanta Church.

To Huu, music is without question one of the greatest achievements of humankind. This belief has inspired his passionate advocacy of the musical arts and instilled in him a devoted commitment towards the advancement of music education. To this end, Huu serves on the music faculty at Kennesaw State University’s Bailey School of Music, where he was chosen as the ‘Part-time Teacher of the Year’ in 2021. In addition, Huu maintains an active private-teaching studio with students who have been recognized both nationally and internationally.

Huu is well-known in the Atlanta and surrounding areas as an accomplished concerto artist, guest-lecturer, conductor, national and international competitions adjudicator, and collaborative performer.

As a strong believer in the importance of service to the community, Huu dedicates his time and talents to actively serving on the boards of both the Cobb County and the Georgia Music Teachers Associations developing, building, and facilitating local association conferences and cooperative competitions. Huu was the recipient of the GMTA’s  2019 ‘Teacher of the Year’ Award as well as the Steinway and Sons ‘Top Teacher Award’ for 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Huu further extends his love and appreciation of music serving as the accompanist and Assistant Director of the world-renowned Atlanta Boy Choir.

Huu is the proud parent of two dogs and one cat, and an equally proud grandparent of four. Besides music, the love of his life is his wife, Marielle, followed closely, very closely, by his love for food, tennis, and exploring the great outdoors.
