Important Update: All Christmas eve services will be VIRTUAL

Beloveds of NDPC,

The COVID task force, along with the NDPC staff, recently made the hard decision to move to VIRTUAL worship services for Christmas Eve. We will NOT have people worship in the Sanctuary.

COVID numbers in Georgia have skyrocketed. The number of positive COVID tests is reaching the peak levels of January and August. Omicron is VERY virulent and spreads easily around cloth masks and even among the vaccinated. The safety of our congregation has always been our highest priority. With that in mind, it does not make sense to have people in our sanctuary.

We will livestream and record the 11AM worship service, and put it on the website so that you may worship at whatever time you choose. We hope you will light a candle, drink something warming (or refreshing and festive!) and feel held by your church community, even as we must once again be apart.

This isn’t the way we want to spend Christmas–but it’s the right thing to do at this moment.

Sending love, peace, and the gift made manifest in the Christ child, the infinite made finite, offering the promise of God’s grace and tender care forever.
